Family owned and managed since 1905, Hatfield Insurance Agency, Inc. is a full service insurance brokerage providing custom personal and commercial consultation and placement of policies as well as expert witness testimony for attorneys.
Our agents, staff, and associates are well educated and experienced. They hold advanced degrees which include CPCU, CLU, CPA and JD designations. We are licensed in CT, NY, FL, MA and VT with correspondents in other states.
The Agency was founded by William A. Hatfield. His son, William W. Hatfield, joined the Agency in 1936 after graduating from Wesleyan University and was president from 1937-2005. He was absent between 1941-1945 while on active duty as a naval officer in WWII. The current principles, Guy Hatfield and Ross Hatfield, are the grandsons of the founder.
Many of our clients have been with us for over three generations and our retention is over 90% .
